Vital Plan Select just might be one of the best CBD vendors when it comes to truly full-spectrum CBD oil. We say ‘truly’ since many in the industry make this claim, but few can back it up with the astounding terpene profiles we see here. Founded by a physician who made the switch to natural healing, Vital Plan Select is a great choice for potent cannabidiol from a conscious company.

Dr, Bill Rawls, co-founder of Vital Plan Select, experienced a health crisis in his forties that led him to tirelessly research herbs and make formulations to enhance his own wellness. He naturally discovered CBD but was concerned with an absence of quality, purity, and potency with the vendors he encountered.

He founded Vital Plan Select over a decade ago to answer the call for high-grade cannabidiol and an impact-based brand to match. His brand — which he co-founded with his business-savvy daughter — is a Certified B Corporation, a designation we’ve only seen a couple of other times in the CBD space. It’s a certification awarded to mission-driven businesses with tangible, positive effects on social and environmental issues.

Plus, the company is part of the Pledge 1% movement, a promise to donate at least 1% of profits, products, and/or employee time to nonprofits to help better the world. To top it off, Vital Plan Select is EWG certified! This is the first time we’ve seen this seal from the Environmental Working Group with a CBD vendor. This brand obviously gets the Charity Badge.

And honestly, Vital Plan Select takes quality to another level. They specifically use the Green Cherry hemp variety which they grow in one of the country’s only USDA-certified-organic hemp greenhouses. Biodynamic processes are employed and their cultivation process generates zero waste. Sustainability on overdrive.

Vital Plan Select uses a proprietary thermal extraction method they claim “retains up to 6 times more native terpenes than any other activated hemp oil.”

The claim checks out!

We have never seen this many terpenes in any third-party cannabidiol tests before. Ever. Their full-spectrum CBD tinctures show 17 total!

Many vendors will lose terpenes in the extraction process and then later infuse their CBD oil with outside terpenes, most of which are sourced from plants other than hemp.

Vital Plan Select provides the highest amount of terpenes from the same hemp their cannabidiol is sourced from. They get the Innovation Badge for this, and if we could award them the Quality Badge twice, we would!

Vital Plan Select provides both cannabinoid profiles and terpene profiles for each SKU. But while they test for the contaminants we require, we cannot award the Safety Badge until we see these results online. This is the only thing standing in the way of a perfect score.

The brand has just two full-spectrum products: CBD oil tinctures and CBD joint and muscle balm. The former has all organic ingredients, and their CBD topical is next-level quality. Not only is it all-natural; most of the ingredients are also organic. Vital Plan Select’s line may not have a lot of options, but with quality at this level, we don’t care.

Bottom Line – Vital Plan Select creates their own CBD oil with the most robust terpene profiles we’ve ever seen. They’re a mission-driven brand that oozes transparency and makes you feel good about your purchase.
