AVIDA CBD was initially developed for the families and friends of the team behind the brand, as well as team members themselves. They cater to anyone who wants to experience better wellness and a healthier lifestyle. AVIDA CBD prides themselves on three core values: transparency, affordability, and amazing customer service.
As far as customer service goes, the brand earns major points for their free shipping within the US and a pretty lucrative rewards program. You get points each time you purchase, and you can redeem those points at any time. Definitely a plus if you’re buying CBD oil on the regular.
AVIDA CBD sources their cannabidiol from ‘100% organic cultivated hemp plants’ in Colorado. All their CBD products are made in a GMP-certified facility in the USA. The brand appears to be on the up and up when it comes to quality, but unfortunately, we cannot award the Quality Badge at this time.
That’s because AVIDA CBD doesn’t come right out and say what their extraction method is, only referring to it as “AVIDA core” and that it involves six steps. It could very well be a clean extraction process, but until we know what it is, the Quality Badge will have to wait.
Same goes for the Safety Badge. AVIDA has CoAs for their products and includes independent test results for pesticides and heavy metals. It’s a great start and honestly more than what many vendors are currently providing in the industry.
However, to get our Safety Badge (the most difficult one to earn), they’ll have to additionally provide contaminants results for microbials and residual solvents. A clean residual solvents test would also put them in the clear for the Quality Badge if AVIDA does not want to disclose a proprietary, super-secret extraction method.
