RAW Health Infused Products Review

RAW Health centers their brand on their CBD-infused super waters. Each formula — Refresh, Renew, and Relax — features broad-spectrum, 0% THC CBD oil and just nine ingredients. RAW Health prides themselves on the natural thing, and all their all-natural claims check out. No synthetics or artificial stuff here! But unfortunately, this fresh CBD brand ranks low according to our methodology. See why we currently can only give them one badge.

The broad spectrum cannabidiol in RAW Health’s CBD water shots and CBD pet line is sourced from US-grown industrial hemp. In fact, the company claims to source all their ingredients domestically, and all manufacturing takes place in their cGMP, ISO-certified facilities. However, RAW Health does not mention the extraction method used to process their cannabidiol, so we cannot award the Quality Badge.

Note, RAW Health does not refer to the cannabidiol in their products as CBD, but rather PCR, which stands for ‘phytocannabinoid-rich.’ The words ‘CBD’ and ‘CBD oil’ are completely absent from their website. This is somewhat common in the CBD space, but certainly not the norm. While each company has a different motivation for using PCR in lieu of CBD, RAW Health seems to be one, wanting to convey the fact that there are multiple cannabinoids in their products, and two, staying safe to sell on Amazon (the platform currently is not-so-CBD friendly).

The thing is, we can’t substantiate whether or not RAW Health’s products are indeed phytocannabinoid-rich since the brand does not post any CoAs on their site. To be fair, a CoA comes with all orders, a great first step. But we’ll also need to see contaminants tests to verify their claims — like ‘solvent-free’ and ‘pesticide-free’— and to consider the Safety Badge.

RAW Health’s CBD catalog is 100% natural and 100% made in the USA, specifically in sunny California. They offer just two categories of CBD products: their signature PCR-infused water shots and CBD for pets. As mentioned earlier, the 1-oz CBD water shots contain just nine ingredients. We checked; they’re all clean! Each bottle costs $4.99 and contains 25mg of cannabinoids. Formulas include Refresh, with strawberry flavor and marketed as a ‘natural energy shot.’ Then, there’s Renew, the ‘natural hangover remedy,’ in mixed berry and finally, Relax, a blueberry concoction with CBD for anxiety and sleep. We’re curious as to what differentiates each formula since the ingredients lists are identical. Perhaps it is a variation in the proprietary herbal blend? At $4.99 a bottle, we’d certainly like to know.

We also want to know if they are using water-soluble CBD in these water shots. If not, we may be looking at a bioavailability issue. Water-soluble CBD is perfect for adding to beverages and can be efficiently absorbed but incorporating traditional CBD oil to liquids compromises absorption rates. These are best with other delivery methods like under the tongue or CBD topicals.

Lastly, RAW Health has a nice line of CBD for pets with PCR-infused treats for small, medium, and large breeds, plus an awesome PCR treat spray with bacon flavor. We appreciate that RAW Health keeps the ingredients in this line clean and simple, not skimping on the health and wellness of our furry companions.

We’d like to know more about RAW Health’s CBD products, namely the extraction method they employ, what makes each CBD water shot formula different, and of course, safety and purity tests to view before we buy. Hopefully, the answers to these questions are sound, and we’d be able to recommend the brand in the future.

Bottom Line – RAW Health has some intriguing CBD, excuse us, PCR products like their water shots, but there’s too much missing to receive more than one badge with our methodology.
