Omax Health wants you to live life to the max! We do too, and that’s why we tirelessly vet every new CBD vendor on the scene with our solid methodology. In this case, Omax Health fares well, getting three of our five badges. They have an impressive scientific team and a pretty unique CBD product that targets, of all things, the female orgasm. But we still know very little about the cannabidiol they use in their supplements.
Omax Health is a supplement company that gained traction in the health and wellness space over a decade ago when they developed a high-quality omega-3 supplement. They claim this supplement, in particular, is trusted by countless consumers, healthcare practitioners, and even professional athletes. Earning trust like this in the unregulated supplements market is definitely a good sign. And now, the brand wants to optimize your health and vitality even more with CBD supplements.
The Omax Health team boasts impressive credentials, especially Dr. Coric, a Yale clinical researcher who apparently plays a large role in CBD product development. But what seems to be lacking is a passion or even deep knowledge about hemp. It’s evident in the fact that Omax does not talk about where their hemp comes from nor the processes used to extract it. While they claim each batch receives a CoA after being made in their state-of-the-art cGMP facility, they don’t detail what these tests are, let alone post them for consumers to view.
For all we know, everything is on the up and up. But without disclosure, we definitely cannot verify quality or safety. Omax Health has the nutritional supplement thing down, but they’re entering new territory with the CBD oil market. We want to know where their CBD comes from and how it’s made!
Omax Health offers a variety of health and wellness supplements, but for our purposes, we will only discuss their CBD products which include:
- Sleep & Stress Remedy CBD capsules.
- CryoFreeze CBD Rapid Relief Drops – This is our favorite offering in Omax’s CBD catalog. It’s got a triple boost of anti-inflammatory superstars: full-spectrum CBD oil, turmeric, and the cannabinoid-terpene hybrid, beta-caryophyllene. It’s 100% natural with a delightfully subtle, cinnamon taste. We just wish we could see a cannabinoid profile to verify what’s inside!
- CryoFreeze CBD Roll On – We’re going to follow that up with our least favorite product, Omax’s CBD topical. Why? It’s packing too many synthetics for us to feel good about, the worst of which is methylparaben. PG, polysorbate 20, and triethanolamine are also lurking inside.
- O-Shot CBD Arousal Oil for Women – This CBD intimate lube earns the brand the Innovation Badge. We’ve seen intimate products like this before in the CBD space, but this is the first we’ve seen that specifically targets the female orgasm. Intriguing, to say the least. And mostly natural, with the exception of some artificial flavors (it’s edible).
Omax Health offers a military discount, so to rank higher with us, they simply need to go for the Quality and Safety Badges. With the exception of the synthetic nasties in their CBD topical, their CBD products seem solid and quality. Showing third-party tests to prove it should be their next step.
Bottom Line – Omax Health currently offers four CBD products. We’re stoked on their CBD oil drops, not so down with their CBD topical, and intrigued by their CBD arousal oil for women. We hope the brand can disclose more about the sources, processes, and safety of their CBD oil soon.
