Say hello to Young Living’s official CBD brand, Nature’s Ultra. If you’re into essential oils, then you’re already familiar with Young Living. If you’re not, you may not know that like the CBD biz, the essential oils marketplace is largely unregulated. People use essential oils for a variety of reasons, like aromatherapy, cleaning, skin products, and even to ingest orally, but most of these oils are mass produced and not tested for purity. It’s actually a scary thing, especially if you apply essential oils to your skin or ingest them.
Enter Young Living.
Young Living has earned a stellar reputation for what they call their Seed to Seal standard, meaning they can trace all their essential oils right back to the farm. Ipso facto, people in the know feel confident purchasing from Young Living because they’re getting therapeutic grade, pure oils that are free from harmful contaminants.
Incorporating Young Living Essential Oils is what makes the Nature’s Ultra line unique. Sure, a couple other CBD vendors use Young Living, but this exclusive brand is the only one with their proprietary Smart Spectrum™ CBD. It’s basically CBD isolate from organic Colorado hemp that’s blended with the Young Living line in perfect ratios.
Not only is the source hemp farm certified organic, the manufacturing facility for Nature’s Ultra also boasts the USDA organic seal. It’s all part of the Young Living promise of quality and safety.
Nature’s Ultra offers a high-quality, but limited line of CBD options, all of which contain 0% THC:
- CBD oil drops in cinnamon, citrus, and cool mint
- CBD muscle rub – We love this all-natural superstar with camphor, clove, and helichrysum oil. FYI this is the only product in the line that is not vegan (contains beeswax).
- CBD calm roll-on – There’s no other CBD roll-on with this soothing and natural aroma. It’s a totally unique and relaxing scent with a balance of vetiver, frankincense, and ylang ylang essential oils. Apply to the neck, temples, or chest to soak in the goodness.
We know that Young Living is known for their stringent testing protocols, and they claim the same dedication with the Nature’s Ultra line. But unfortunately, the brand does not quite qualify for our Safety Badge. Currently, the CoAs online are internal documents, not third-party tests. And while they test for residual solvents, pesticides, and heavy metals, we’d need them to test for microbial impurities, too.
Finally, because we don’t know Nature’s Ultra’s extraction method and we cannot actually view a residual solvents test, the Quality Badge is technically a no-go as well.
Still, we are impressed with the high level of quality and dedication to essential oils present in the Nature’s Ultra line. When it comes to CBD infused with essential oils, it probably doesn’t get much better.
Bottom Line – Nature’s Ultra offers the ultimate essential oil-infused CBD, but they need to disclose some more information to rank higher with our methodology.

I am curious just how much wintergreen is in the muscle rub? Wintergreen is anticoagulant & I am currently on 81 mg aspirin due to blood clots, 4 strokes & 1 seizure. This has been helping me so much with my pain level.
