It’s all in the name: CBD For the People prides itself on providing a product that’s as safe and quality as possible, and has the transparency to prove it. The company puts its ethos on clear display, as well as its extensive third party lab-testing policy, which is broken down and explained with both nuance and straightforwardness. It all comes together to showcase CBD FTP’s commitment to bringing affordable CBD oil to the masses.
The old adage advises that the customer’s always right. But from CBD For the People’s point of view, the customer’s always first.
The company was founded on that bedrock belief, with transparency and integrity composing the core of CBD For the People’s ethos. And an entire business has since developed around it, with a number of thoughtful practices instituted to ensure the company lives up to its word.
It starts with CBD For the People (FTP)’s hemp sourcing process, with the crop coming from organic farms from across the country. The plants then undergo supercritical CO2 extraction, widely regarded as a much safer—and efficient—way to produce CBD oil. And then things really get technical.
CBD FTP puts its CBD oil through four separate stages of third party lab-testing, starting with the company’s “Master Batch,” the first lot of cannabidiol to come out of the presses. The second phase—termed the “Dark Raw” step—begins once the Master Batch has been distilled for a first time. The resulting CBD oil is then used in CBD FTP’s line of CBD oil tinctures, salves, and softgels.
A second distillation yields yet another tested batch of cannabidiol, called the “Blonde Raw” oil, which goes into the company’s vape pens. And finally, a third distillation is used to produce even further-refined CBD oil—though the company is still working on the products that will include the potent stuff.
Terpenes get their own set of lab results, and, quite impressively, the entire catalogue of CoAs (Certificates of Analysis) are current and above board, showcasing the lack of microbials, pesticides, heavy metals, residual solvents, or other contaminants through each step of the way—and for each individual product.
All told, CBD FTP’s inventory includes nearly 30 of these hyper-tested products, ranging from CBD oil tinctures, softgels, salves, and vape pen cartridges, all available in a range of strengths and sizes, and some available in different flavors, provided by an all-natural lineup of supporting ingredients like terpenes and essential oils. Prices range from $35 for a single CBD oil tincture to $270 for a package of four CBD vape oil cartridges.
Bottom Line – CBD For the People does much to live up to its moniker. The company has a rigorous third-party lab testing process in place to ensure that it’s quality-sourced hemp is safe through every step of refinement, with the final product packaged into a number of different items—all comprised of additional and equally-non-toxic ingredients.
Supercritical CO2 extraction is used to separate cannabidiol from the company’s hemp plants, which are sourced from within the U.S.
CBD For the People utilizes a four-step testing process for its CBD oil, and provides satisfactory results from them all the way down the line.
