Blue Moon has good intentions written all over them; it is evident that they have prioritized the combination of both top-quality cannabidiol oil and affordability in one neatly wrapped package. The supposed reason they can do this is due to their “strong buying power,” a perk that is passed on to the consumer. Products range in price from $7.50 for their 1oz bag of CBD gummies all the way to $209 for their 3000mg CBD oil tincture.

Blue Moon easily earns both the Quality and Charity Badges. The brand exclusively uses industrial hemp grown in Kentucky and a supercritical CO2 extraction process. Like Oregon and Colorado, Kentucky is known for their stringent growing protocols and awesome hemp. And since Blue Moon gives back by offering a discount for servicemen and women, the Charity Badge is a no-brainer.

This company also seems very passionate in regards to educating the general public about cannabinoids like CBD, what they are, and why many people could benefit from their usage. Not only do they run a blog and a forum on these topics, but they also have multiple links to various studies. This education is hugely important, as there remain scores of individuals with chronic illnesses and disabilities that have never heard of CBD, much less why it could be helpful — especially compared to pharmaceutical drugs.

It appears the brand makes most of their CBD products with broad-spectrum crystalline, but Blue Moon also claims to utilize high-speed emulsion technology, a technique which produces nano-sized molecules. This process not only allows for a much higher bioavailability but also increased stability, which means a longer shelf life.

We’ve awarded Blue Moon the Innovation Badge for their use of nanotechnology, but we are a little confused as to which of their CBD products actually incorporate this technology. For now, it appears that only their cat CBD tincture and dog CBD tincture are ‘nano-tized.’ We’ll need a bit more clarification on that front.
