JuJu Royal Review

Julian Marley carries on his father’s legacy with his cannabis company, JuJu Royal. Although the primary focus is on promoting THC-rich marijuana strains, they do offer hemp CBD products that appear aimed at recreational users. Although there’s not necessarily anything wrong with JuJu Royal (other than the lack of testing data), there is also nothing that stands out and inspires us beyond the family name, which is likely to be more than enough for many.

JuJu Royal is the brainchild of Julian Marley, son of Bob Marley and noteworthy proponent of the Rastafari way of life. JuJu Royal’s main focus is on growing and selling potent strains of THC-containing cannabis, but their site has a few CBD-only items.

These CBD products range in price from $49 to $110. Their vape line is pretty clean, including a vape pen, cartridges, and e-liquids with all-natural flavors. JuJu Royal also makes full spectrum CBD oil tinctures suspended in MCT oil and infused with terpenes and natural flavors. Finally, they sell a CBD olive oil made from Arizona olives that are non-GMO and free of pesticides. Fresh basil and rosemary are pressed into the olives and this oil is combined with CBD distillate. Yum!

We are pleased with JuJu Royal’s void of artificial ingredients and also their sourcing. They exclusively use hemp grown organically in the San Luis Valley of Colorado for their extractions and utilize supercritical CO2 technology to produce full-spectrum CBD oil that is hopefully free of residual solvents and other harmful contaminants.

While the company claims to conduct independent tests for purity and contaminants, we are unable to find any published on their site, making them ineligible for the Safety Badge. In order for a CBD vendor to earn this badge, we need to see proof from a third party that the products:

• Fall at or below the legal limit of THC.
• Are free of contaminants including pesticides and heavy metals.
• Contain the amount of CBD they say they do.

Bottom Line – While we are definitely feeling the irie vibes, we need a bit more from JuJu Royal to rank them higher. Publishing their independent lab results for the potency and safety of their CBD line is a great start.
