Meet a team of ‘passionate growers’ dedicated to top-of-the-line hemp genetics. As the name implies, 4 Corners Cannabis consistently emphasizes that they do not cut any corners, controlling 100% of their in-house production process. They have a straightforward and focused CBD product line that is not only all-natural, but strikingly potent. We checked, and their cannabinoid profile tests show a high percentage of CBD per volume. Kudos on that front. However, the overall safety test results are lacking according to our methodology, so we’d like 4 Corners CBD to cover all bases to rank them higher in the future.

4 Corners Cannabis hails from Durango, Colorado and maintains a heightened focus on plant genetics. They got their start in 2013 creating products for themselves and expanded their horizons after sharing their potent CBD oil with friends and family who were astounded by the benefits. Each of the 4 Corners Cannabis hemp varieties are genetically selected for cannabinoid content, terpene ratios, and resistance to mold and pests. Any plant material that does not make the final cut is reintegrated into the compost to promote healthy soil and sustainability.

4 Corners Cannabis prides themselves on performing their entire process in house, from seed to bottle, with total control over production. Their team has decades of experience working with cannabis, and though we can’t substantiate the claim, they say they were one of the first CBD companies in the world.

Solvent extraction using organic sugar cane ethanol is used to withdraw full spectrum CBD from organically grown hemp flowers. From there, the solution is distilled to further refine the CBD oil and produce a pure and potent product which is then formulated into tinctures and salve. 4 Corners Cannabis tests for residual solvents, an absolute must, but they fall short of receiving the Safety Badge. We were unable to locate a CoA for their CBD salve, and their CBD vape liquid does not have an up-to-date test for microbial contaminants. We noticed that the CBD content in the SKUs tested is very high, which we applaud, but since we are sticklers on safety, we cannot award the badge until all SKUs have tests for both purity and contaminants.

4 Corners Cannabis is serious about their ingredient sourcing, and it shows in the product line that contains high-quality ingredients and zero artificial additives. Their primary focus is CBD tinctures, with an MCT oil variety, a pet line, avocado oil tinctures, and their “orange label” glycerin tincture that can be taken on the go or used for vaping. Finally, they make a very clean salve with CBD for pain and inflammation to be applied topically. This salve is a simple, all-natural blend of coconut oil, full spectrum CBD, premium beeswax, antioxidants, and terpenes. When it comes to CBD topicals, the simpler the better, and we give this one an A+.

Bottom Line – 4 Corners Cannabis exhibits highly intentional processes and offers a very clean line of CBD products. They need to cover more of their bases on testing protocols to receive the Safety Badge, but overall, they’re off to a great start.
