Small farm, big results — we couldn’t have said it better ourselves! Moon Mother not only exclusively uses all-natural ingredients, but all their ingredients are also certified organic: every single essential oil, everything. That goes for the hemp too. Moon Mother has their own USDA certified organic farm in Boulder where they grow the wonderfully potent hemp that makes each of their CBD oil products (especially their topicals) one of a kind.

Moon Mother is in a class all her own. Founded by a clinical herbalist and medical cannabis expert, the brand oozes positivity and trustworthiness. They’re a small, vertically integrated, family-run operation out of Boulder. In 2017, Moon Mother received the legal go-ahead to incorporate 5 acres of hemp on their organic veggie/herb farm. The hemp acreage has been growing ever since.

That’s largely due to the huge amount of love and care Moon Mother puts into growing, tending, and harvesting their CBD hemp. They use biodynamic practices on their organic farm, actions that support the concept of the farm as an organism versus a collection of moving parts. Many experts view biodynamic farming as the best methodology when it comes to sustainable agriculture.

From there, Moon Mother uses CO2 extraction to remove the cannabidiol from their organic hemp plants. According to their current test results, the CBD oil in Moon Mother products is indeed potent and full-spectrum, with CBD, CBG, CBC, and more cannabinoids and terpenes.
