Terra Vida has an impressive line of CBD products, most of which are topicals. And like most CBD topicals in the world, most of theirs are unfortunately use a lot of synthetics. On the flip side, Terra Vida has some bright spots in their catalog, one being their mostly-clean CBD hair conditioner. It’s currently a toss up for this skincare-heavy vendor who needs to take a good next step by providing lab test results online.
Terra Vida says that, “In everything we do, we challenge the status quo. We believe in thinking differently.” The cruelty-free company out of Denver offers free domestic shipping on all their products made here in the USA. We don’t know anything about the founders or team members behind Terra Vida (who appears to be a white-labeled brand versus a seed-to-sale operation), but they claim to promote well-being and hopefully inspire people to seek natural health solutions.
The brand provides those solutions with their dizzying array of CBD products with both full-spectrum and 0% THC options. Terra Vida offers staples like CBD tinctures, oral sprays, softgels, and gummies. They make CBD products for pets as well like shampoo, treats, and more.
But the vast majority of the Terra Vida catalog is CBD topicals. And the vast majority of these contain at least two synthetic ingredients; the only all-natural find is the CBD massage oil. The rest include products like creams targeted at all different parts of the body, salves, bath products, and actually a pretty clean CBD hair conditioner that caught our eye.
We’re awarding Terra Vida the Innovation Badge for their use of apple stem cells in their CBD Age Fighting Cream. Other than that, we didn’t find anything too groundbreaking here. Though we will say we suspect their oral sprays might feature water-soluble CBD oil.
We’d like to see Terra Vida publish test results on their CBD oil products, at the very least for potency. The company claims to conduct testing for potency and contaminants, but none of these are available to view online. Having CoAs published online has now become industry standard, and hopefully, Terra Vida will make the move in that direction in the near future.
Bottom Line – Terra Vida has an extensive line of CBD products, but we’d like to see testing information to back up their claims and less synthetics in their CBD topicals.
