“We set the bar high, without getting you high.” What we love about Pura Cura is that they do their bar raising the simple way — with spotless CBD oil, organic ingredients, and love for the Earth. Pura Cura is a small CBD brand with just a few product options, but they stay focused on the important stuff. They regularly provide third-party tests and give back to the environment in a big way by planting a tree for every product sold.

Pura Cura is a 100% female-owned CBD brand out of the US with a simple product line and an even simpler message — plants over pills. Pura Cura sources their hemp from organic, domestic farms, and their CBD hemp flower is grown in Oregon, a state known for their sprawling organic cannabis farms.

While we don’t know Pura Cura’s extraction method — a prerequisite for the Quality Badge — the brand provides a current residual solvents test, so we know their cannabidiol is not treated with harmful solvents. Everything is created in ISO-certified labs, and the brand stays organic and simple when it comes to their ingredient choices.

The Pura Cura CBD line is broken down into three segments: “The Bottles,” “The Body,” and “The Buds.” Cute and simple, just like they are.

The Bottles include the brand’s CBD oil tinctures that come in seven flavors, including the natural (unflavored) option. Organic MCT oil, organic botanical extract, and CBD isolate are the only ingredients, so rest assured there aren’t any added artificial flavors — even in delicious flavors like mango and strawberry.

The Body earns Pura Cura the Innovation Badge for its incorporation of nanotechnology. Nanotechnology is used to shrink the size of CBD molecules and render them water-soluble for better absorption. Kush Queen is the partner on this line with CBD bath bombs and a CBD lotion. The Melt CBD lotion is relatively clean, with mostly organic ingredients in an aloe base. We found a couple of synthetics (phenoxyethanol and triethanolamine), but nothing scary.

Finally, The Buds feature two varieties of CBD hemp flower grown in Oregon: Hawaiian Hemp and Blueberry Muffin. Both feature robust cannabinoid profiles and terpene profiles, a great sampling of all the phytochemical goodness that hemp has to offer.

We’re happy to report that this brand is genuinely committed to both charity and the environment, planting one tree for every CBD product sold.

Unfortunately, Pura Cura is just ONE TEST AWAY from the Safety Badge! We found cannabinoid profiles for all their SKUs, and the following contaminants tests: microbiologicals, mycotoxins, pesticides, residual solvents. All we need to see is a heavy metals test and boom! Five-badge club.

Bottom Line – Pura Cura has a clean line of CBD products and an eco-conscious ethos. We love their dedication to simplicity and quality.
