But there’s one contaminants test that’s missing — pesticides. OLEO can simply conduct a pesticides test for the CBD isolate used in their products which will suffice and qualify them for the badge.

Since their hemp is supposedly grown organically, pesticides shouldn’t be an issue. However, our methodology requires that CBD vendors post contaminants results, regardless of sourcing. We hope they get on it to boost the credibility of their already-awesome product line.

There’s the original flavorless powder, a great option to mix with beverages like smoothies and juices. The coconut version made from freeze-dried coconuts and the rooibos extract tea mixes pack a little extra nutrition with electrolytes and natural benefits from tea in each, respectively.

We find the process used to enhance the bioavailability of OLEO’s CBD very interesting. Many companies out there are offering water-soluble CBD, and some of these vendors we’ve seen use microencapsulation techniques to bind the molecules with liposomes or proteins. The principle is that these materials that surround the nano-sized molecules help the CBD bind better to cells. Ipso facto, you get more CBD and you get it faster.

OLEO uses a natural carbohydrate binder, an innovative and uncommon technique. You can view an impressive scientific study conducted by the company that shows their powders are twice as bioavailable as traditional CBD isolate. It’s refreshing to see a CBD vendor pay for this kind of a comprehensive study and post the study itself, not just the fancy graphs that we’re supposed to take at face value.
