The Legion of Bloom may derive its name from a group of supervillains, but the company is anything but malicious. On the contrary, the Legion puts an impressive amount of thought and care into its line of cannabis and cannabidiol wares, from the way the plants are grown and harvested to the packaging the final product comes in. We must note, however, that the company’s two skincare products are the only items legal to purchase everywhere, so buyers beware.
The Legion of Bloom’s backstory makes us think of those secret liar meetings between a cohort of like-minded comic book characters plotting to take over—or save—the world. Thankfully, the company’s goals seem to fall into that later category.
The brainchild of a group of five passionate individuals with long histories in the world of cannabis, the Legion was formed as a way to utilize those collective strengths and experiences to spread the good word of cannabidiol across the globe.
And there’s certainly plenty of ways the company has thought of to do so. Inventory at the Legion of Bloom runs an impressive gamut, spanning from new-age CBD vaping liquid to a thoughtfully cultivated skincare line that draws from the ancient teachings of Ayurveda.
We like that the Legion’s products are also certified cruelty-free. And even the company’s packaging undergoes a caring eye, with glass bottles used to help naturally maintain a product’s shelf life. (Plastic packaging has been known to leach into liquid products. Chemically-inert glass doesn’t break down in this way).
We must note, however, that a majority of the company’s products contain THC levels not legal everywhere. (They are, however, above board in the company’s native California). The only two items available that are purely-CBD based are the company’s pair of skincare items: aromatic oil rollers that contain specially-blended combinations of cannabidiol and essential oils, mixed with Ayurvedic philosophies in mind.
The dreamy-sounding pair retail for $35 each.
Bottom Line – We wouldn’t recommend the Legion of Bloom if you’re looking for low dosages of THC, as most of the company’s products are above the legal limit in most states. But its pair of CBD-friendly skincare oils are thoughtfully concocted from certified-safe and quality cannabidiol, and the rest of the company’s line is just as safe and high-quality, regardless of legal status.
