Los Angeles-based RxCannaCare is focused on utilizing the benefits of nature to enhance the natural beauty of our skin. Its CBD-infused skincare line offers a range of options for creating or keeping up with a regular regiment, and the company also dips into the areas of pleasure and pain, using CBD-based creams and oils to create pain relief products and an “intimates” line. A twin skincare line which utilizes hemp oil rather than CBD is also available.

By his telling, RxCannaCare’s founder, Twompson Prater, has been a member of the “cannabis community” for most of his life, so when his sister’s eczema began acting up shortly before her college graduation, she turned to him for help from a more natural source.

What resulted was a CBD oil-infused elixir created by Prater which won praise not just from his sister but her friends, giving Prater the idea of starting his own CBD skincare line.

Today, Los Angeles-based RxCannaCare offers a range of CBD-infused skincare products, from moisturizers to firming formulas, as well as creams for anti-aging and pain relief. The company also produces CBD oil tinctures for both people and pets—which are available as either full-spectrum or isolate. Perhaps most interestingly, Rx CannaCare also has an “intimates” line, featuring edible oils which can be used all over the body—and apparently won’t stain your sheets.

Prices typically range from $60 – $180, without any discounts, or top out closer to $100 if there’s a sale on—though the company’s largest available tincture bottle comes in at $330.

RxCannaCare also has a separate skincare line, which offers many similar products but utilizes hemp oil rather than CBD.

When researching how to put together a helpful formula for his sister, Prater said his first step was examining the products she normally used, and he noted that many of the ingredients were simply added to extend shelf-life, “which you don’t need if you’re using the product.” He vowed to get rid of those fillers in his own skincare line, and, after checking out the ingredients, it seems he’s followed up on that promise.

Bottom Line – RxCannaCare gets high marks from us for their commitment to quality, thanks to their thoughtful hemp sourcing and solid CBD extraction techniques. The company earns our coveted safety badge for their current—and satisfactory—third party lab results, and their innovative “intimates” line also gets an official nod from us. Add a little charity to the mix and this would be a five-star company!
