Unique products are hard to come by in the burgeoning CBD oil space, but Nano 101 appears to have one of them. The Irvine, CA-based company offers one of the market’s only—and what it says is its strongest—CBD oil skin patch. Proprietary extraction methods allow Nano 101 to infuse its hypoallergenic patches with full-potency CBD, and although we understand keeping some of that process under wraps for business purposes, we’d like to see just a bit more information on the company’s specific CBD extraction method—or any evidence of the third-party testing of its cannabidiol.

Nano 101 offers one of the only CBD oil patches on the market today, and the company says it also offers the strongest available option for this delivery method, with just a single one of its patches containing 120 mgs of CBD.

The company uses proprietary extraction and refinement methods to remove the cannabidiol from its industrial hemp plants before adding the “dry equivalent” of 120 mgs of CBD to its patches. All together, the tricky process allows Nano 101 to infuse the cannabidiol with its patches at the CBD’s full potency level, allowing users to wear the product—and feel its effects—for up to 10 hours. The patch delivery method also helps users feel the cannabidiol more quickly and utilizes a more efficient bioavailability than other CBD oil ingestion methods.

The specialty patches are the company’s sole focus—and only product—and are sold in a range of quantities, from boxes of 6 patches to boxes of 30, with prices ranging in tandem, spanning from $48 for the smallest possible box to $225 for the largest.

Nano 101 says its CBD is derived from pesticide-free hemp plants, grown in the “banana belt” region of Colorado, but we typically like to see a bit more information—including an idea of the cannabidiol extraction process—before awarding a quality badge. There are also no test results to be found on the page, which could back up the company’s pesticide-free claims and show whether the product is also free of heavy metals or other contaminants.

Bottom Line – Nano 101 offers a unique product to its customers, with a clear mission of creating a CBD oil product which can be felt quickly and with greater bioavailability. Still, the company just misses our quality mark by leaving out some details on its cannabidiol extraction method and we’d also like to see some test results documenting the quality and potency of its CBD.
