California-based Lifetech Botanics offers a range of full-spectrum CBD oils—and spans the full spectrum when it comes to their offerings: The company talks a big game on new scientific discoveries and the latest in the biotech field, but strives to produce “old fashioned-style” cannabidiol products to let customers have the same type of experience as their ancestors.
As their name may suggest, Lifetch Botanics really digs the “tech” side of the cannabidiol industry. The company makes it a point on their site to bring up their work with “leading experts” and botanical research scientists, as well as their interest in the latest discoveries of the biotech field.
A National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA) member, Lifetech Botanics promises to keep its customers up-to-date on the most recent news from the world of CBD science, and in some ways, it does, with an extensive list of outside links to scientific articles on the benefits of CBD oil for any number of ailments. The company even goes so far to explain some nuances that may be found in the scientific findings, including that the results of CBD testing on animals may not apply to us humans.
Still, we wish they’d offer more information on their own products.
Lifetech specializes in full-spectrum CBD oil, offering five different tinctures of the product in varying strengths. Price points follow suit, ranging from $49 for the least cannabidiol-dense oil to $189 for the highest-concentration CBD oil, which tops out at 15%. Each of the oils consist of two ingredients: CBD extract and olive oil.
(The company may also offer CBD-infused chocolate, though the only evidence of such a product exists in an intriguing and mysterious blog post, signed by Lifetech president, Athan Bloom).
But only one product showcases the results of any outside testing for purity and possible contaminants, and the results are over a year old. And for all the claims of interest in the cutting-edge of CBD oil science, there’s little innovation to be found in the company’s product line.
Bottom line – Lifetech Botanics may offer the simple, natural product they advertise, but they fall short in the “tech” portion of their name, with little-to-no innovation. We wish they’d be more consistent—and timely—with posting the results of purity and contaminant testing for their products, and it’d be nice if they got involved in a little charity.

Hello,
Well thanks for the note. Since prior importation of EU Hemp oils had become virtually prohibitive, and the EU partners could not not met the sales demand projected we decided to dissolve Lifetech Botanics. Its unfortunate there is still web presence.
I have kept the name cannium and we will be starting back up soon with new full spec hemp products for 2020. Cannium.org
Cheers!

Your CBD OIL Review site is amazing. I can NOT thank you enough for investing your time in this and publishing these reviews. I’m a newby consumer entering the field semi-educated but lacking knowledge/ability to truly discern one company from another. No one wants to feel like a “Sucker!” at any price. You answered so many questions within each one of these companies that I’ll be able to make a purchase much more confidently. Thank you, again! s/Rita
