All-natural, tried and true relief — that’s the promise behind Theramu, an interesting brand whose formulas combine the natural benefits of CBD oil with the healing properties of emu oil. In fact, Theramu thinks emu oil is THE carrier oil for CBD, offering bioavailability on another level. Their products are 100% safety verified with all-natural ingredients, but vegans will have to take a pass.

Theramu believes in the synergistic power of two natural substances on which their entire line is based: CBD oil and emu oil. Both have powerful anti-inflammatory properties, and emu oil is a great moisturizer, penetrating all seven layers of the skin for amazing results. It doesn’t clog pores and has been used as a natural remedy for hundreds, perhaps thousands, of years. Theramu claims that emu oil is the best carrier oil for CBD because the combination has high bioavailability, carrying the CBD molecules deep into the body.

Theramu strictly uses CBD isolate — no full spectrum options here. And we’re happy to award the Safety Badge since they post a current CoA for the isolate, including testing for pesticides, microbials, residual solvents, and heavy metals. Plus, each SKU has an up-to-date cannabinoid profile. Bases are covered; Theramu products are safe.

While we don’t know the extraction method used to procure their CBD isolate, Theramu sources industrial hemp from certified American farmers. And because their independent test results confirm there are no residual solvents, we’ll let it slide this time.

Emu oil is becoming a popular ingredient in many CBD topicals, and there is a fantastic organization working to promote purity and ethics in emu oil called the American Emu Association (AEA). An AEA certification verifies that the emu oil in question is fully refined (contaminant-free) and that birds raised to produce said oil are treated humanely.

We’ve encountered a couple CBD vendors who use a lot of emu oil that have this important certification. We urge Theramu to follow in their footsteps, especially since emu oil is their thing. After all, many regular CBD consumers are motivated by eco causes, including compassion for animals.

Bottom Line – The Theramu line of CBD oil synergistically combined with emu oil is backed by solid safety tests and all-natural ingredients, but vegans have to sit this one out.
