Cannabidiol Life Review

Cannabidiol Life is a juggernaut in the CBD e-commerce world, with a powerful website and expansive product line that caters to each customer segment. Their CBD topicals caught our eye: they’re full of all-natural, healing ingredients and cover the gamut from anti-aging serum to chapstick and massage oil. An enthusiastic A+ for CBD skincare. What we’re not excited about are their edibles and vape oils, both which contain artificial colors and/or flavors. But our major complaint is outdated tests that do not include results for contaminants. Cannabidiol Life has made great strides, but we know they can do better.

Cannabidiol Life claims they are the “largest CBD oil page online.” They may not be the largest per se, but their site is chock full of CBD information and an extensive line of products. In addition to selling cannabidiol products, Cannabidiol Life offers a lucrative affiliate program and white labelling services that even include website and logo design for aspiring CBD oil companies.

Cannabidiol Life sources organically grown industrial hemp from Colorado, and they strongly stand behind their gentle, “cradling” organic ethanol extraction process for their CBD oils. The CBD isolate in their dab line is processed via supercritical CO2 extraction, another more popular, clean method we approve of.

As cliche as it is, the Cannabidiol Life product line really does have something for everyone. They use premium and all-natural ingredients we approve of, for the most part:

• CBD Oil
  Their full spectrum CBD oils are combined with organic MCT oil, and Cannabidiol Life removes seeds and stems during the extraction process for a smoother finish. In addition to the flagship oil, they offer a CBD oil for menstrual relief with Sacha Incha oil and CBG oil infused with CBD and terpenes. CBG is another cannabinoid, the parent molecule of both CBD and THC. It’s gaining traction in the health and wellness space for its natural benefits.
• CBD Isolate (CO2-extracted CBD isolate wax, crystals/shatter, and powder)
• CBD Water
• CBD for Pets
• CBD Topicals
  The CBD topical line is a joint venture with Wholly Hemp, using only all-natural ingredients like sandalwood and argan oil in combination with full spectrum CBD hemp oil. We’re impressed with the quality of their CBD skincare. No chemical emulsifiers here!
• CBD capsules
• Full Spectrum CBD Vape Oil
  We’ve got a bone to pick with the vape oils due to the use of artificial flavors. Not cool and not necessary.
• CBD edibles
  Their edibles consists of CBD caramels, chocolates, and gummies. We can give a stamp of approval for the first two, but the gummies contain both artificial flavors and colors. We encourage Cannabidiol Life to check out some of their competitors who produce awesome CBD gummies without unnatural dyes and flavors.

Our main issue with Cannabidiol Life concerns the Safety Badge, or lack thereof. They have only 12 laboratory tests posted that don’t come close to covering every SKU, and many of these tests were conducted almost two years ago. Most importantly, we could only find one comprehensive CoA posted — the rest of the documents do not show results for contaminants, only the cannabinoid profiles.

All CBD oil merchants should be actively testing for contaminants and posting the results. And those using solvent extraction methods like Cannabidiol Life need to be particularly vigilant to test for residual solvents. We emphatically cannot award the Safety Badge in this case.

Bottom Line – Cannabidiol Life has an expansive product line with ingredients we wholeheartedly approve of, excepting the gummies and CBD vape oil. We recommend they get up-to-date, comprehensive testing results posted for each SKU ASAP. And with their powerhouse site that gets so much traffic, we’d really like to see them get involved on the charity front.
